Close the gap between the clinic and the home.
We believe the distance between a therapy session and the dinner table is where outcomes are made or lost. Talkli exists to close that gap — giving families the tools, the context, and the confidence to continue meaningful practice every single day.
Where it started
Talkli started in Tampa Bay, Florida, where a speech-language pathologist and a parent of a child in speech therapy kept running into the same problem: families leaving appointments not quite sure what had happened, what to practice, or whether their child was making progress.
Session notes existed — but they were written for insurance, not for parents. Practice guidance was given verbally — and forgotten by the time everyone got to the car. Progress was happening, but nobody could see it clearly.
The answer wasn't more paperwork. It was a smarter connection between the people who most care about a child's voice: their therapist and their family.
What we built
Talkli is a platform that lets speech-language pathologists document sessions, set goals, and communicate with families — all in one place. For families, it means practice games built around their child's actual goals, session notes from their therapist waiting in their pocket, and a clear picture of how their child is improving week over week.
We designed it to be genuinely simple. Not "simple for a medical platform" — simple enough that a busy parent can open it between school pickup and dinner and actually use it. Simple enough that a therapist can write a note in the same amount of time it used to take just to open their documentation software.
Our approach to privacy
Speech therapy involves children and families sharing sensitive information. We designed Talkli with that weight in mind. Data is stored securely, access is role-controlled, and we do not sell user data. See our Privacy Policy and HIPAA Notice for full details.
Small team. Big purpose.
Talkli is built by a small team of clinicians, parents, and engineers in the Tampa Bay area.
